On an early spring day, board members from The Garden Club of New Jersey, Inc. (GCNJ), stopped by our Garden Center to discuss a new symposium theme and date. During their six-acre under glass tour, given by Tim Hionis, they learned how a greenhouse water recycling system works, spoke about annuals, perennials, tropical plants, environmental responsibilities, educational causes and most of all, their love of gardening. GCNJ has over 5,200 members, was founded in 1925, and is a federation of individual local garden clubs throughout the state.
